UNDSS takes your privacy seriously and the information we collect is only used for security related purposes by Security Professionals in the UN Security Management System.

The Physical Security Assessment Tool (PSA Tool) app is a premises assessment tool that allows security professionals to do a full security assessment of UN premises. No PII (Personally Identifiable Information) except for the name of the user is captured, stored or transmitted by the app.

The data captured in the app is encrypted every step of the way. It is neither sold to, nor shared with third parties.

Given the nature of the Physical Security Assessment Tool (PSA Tool), please be aware of the following: When you enable the device location service, the location is only used while you are using the app and only for the point-in-time capture of the location as part of the premises assessment.

When “All File Access” permission is given to the app, it is only used to access pictures that were taken through the app itself. You may access these pictures using any file manager outside of the app.
